Approval of Regulations of Studentships of Research

The Research Fellow Statute (EBI) can be applied to scientific research fellows of any entity, provided that the respective regulations are met. Studentships are approved by the Foundation for Science and Technology.

Thus, the financing entities of Studentships Research institutions must obtain approval from the FCT for their respective regulations in order to grant these subsidies intended to finance the carrying out of activities of a scientific, technological and training nature. You can request approval of a regulation of Studentships any public or private entity, namely non-business entities in the Research & Innovation and Business system.

In cases where the request is made by a public or private entity, whose main objective is not to carry out scientific research and technological development activities, and/or, whose activity is not recognized as being of scientific or technological interest, they must specifically identify the project under which they are seeking approval.

As an alternative to drafting a proposal for regulation and respective contract models, Studentship and final reports the entity may request the adoption of the regulation Studentships FCT research.

Proposals for regulations must comply with the provisions of Article 6 of the EBI.
